How are you connecting my bank account and accessing my data ?

Account Aggregators are regulated entities authorised by the Reserve Bank of India to allow users to share their financial information safely and only with their consent. What are account aggregators and can i trust them with my data ?

Account Aggregators (AAs) are licensed and regulated entities approved by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) under its data-sharing framework. Their role is to enable you to securely share your financial data (such as bank accounts, and more) with apps like ours, but only with your explicit consent. Importantly, AAs cannot see, store, or sell your data. They act purely as a secure technology channel, using end-to-end encryption to transfer information safely. This framework has been designed by the Government of India and RBI to give individuals full control and transparency over their financial information, while ensuring the highest standards of privacy and security.

What will my financial data be used for and Is my financial data safe ?

Your data will be used solely to deliver the services within the app, such as expense tracking, cash flow analysis, and personalised financial insights. We do not sell, store, or share your data with any third party, except as strictly required to provide the app’s services in line with RBI-AA regulations. Yes, your financial data is completely safe with us. Protecting it is our top priority. We use the same AES-256 encryption standard that banks and governments rely on, and every bit of information is transmitted securely over SSL/TLS connections so it cannot be intercepted. We connect through RBI-licensed Account Aggregators, which means your data moves strictly with your consent. We will never sell your personal or financial information to anyone. Most importantly, you stay in full control you choose which accounts to link, and you can revoke access at any time. Your trust is at the heart of what we do, and security is built into every part of the product.

Is my FD safe if I book it through Finanjo?

Yes. Your FD is held directly with the partner bank or financial institution. Finanjo acts as a facilitator for discovery and booking. Your deposit is held with the regulated institution offering the FD, not with Finanjo.

What rewards do I get for booking an FD through Finanjo?

When you book an FD through Finanjo: You get 1% cashback on all FD bookings, If you book an FD of ₹1,00,000 or more, you receive an additional ₹1,000 Amazon voucher on top of your additional 1% cashback . Rewards are credited as per the applicable promotional terms at the time of booking.
