Standard Chartered Rewards Credit Card is a rewards-focused credit card designed for everyday retail spends, with no joining fee in the first year and a manageable annual fee from the second year onwards. You earn 4X reward points on most retail transactions and can unlock additional 4X bonus rewards on monthly spends above ₹20,000, making it attractive for consistent spenders. The card also offers 1 complimentary domestic airport lounge visit every calendar quarter, a 1% fuel surcharge waiver, and seamless 360° Rewards portal redemptions. Overall, it suits users looking for a simple, non-co-branded rewards card that balances reward points, lounge access, and reasonable annual costs.

Features of Standard Chartered Rewards Credit Card which makes it unique

4X + 4X Layered Reward Structure

Earn 4X reward points on eligible retail spends plus an additional 4X bonus on monthly spends above ₹20,000, up to 2,000 bonus points per statement cycle.

Delivers strong value-back for users who route most of their routine expenses through the card.

Richer monthly bonus structure than many entry-level rewards credit cards in India.

First Year Free With Smart Renewal Benefits

No joining fee in the first year and a clear renewal logic combining both spend-based fee waiver and bonus reward points on fee payment.

Lets you try the card at zero cost initially and still get value even if you do not hit the spend-based waiver later.

More consumer-friendly renewal structure than cards that only offer a waiver without any renewal bonus.

Complimentary Domestic Lounge Access On A Mid-Range Rewards Card

Includes domestic airport lounge visits, even though it is positioned as a standard rewards product rather than a premium travel card.

Occasional travellers enjoy airport comfort without upgrading to high-fee premium cards.

Lounge access on a ₹1,000 annual fee rewards card is relatively competitive for casual travellers.
